How to schedule a telephone appointment

UI Adjudication

The UI Division’s Adjudication section is responsible for investigating and resolving issues that are delaying the payment of unemployment benefits. If you left your last job voluntarily or were terminated, your eligibility requirements must be determined by a claims examiner.

If there are any concerns regarding your ability, availability, willingness to seek and accept work, or your failure to register for work, a claims examiner must assess your eligibility for benefits. If you receive a denial notice, you can file an appeal.

If it is discovered that you submitted a fraudulent claim for UI benefits or an overpayment has occurred, a claims examiner must determine if benefits can be continued and whether any penalties apply.
