Virginia Unemployment Office Locations
VEC (Virginia Employment Commission) Local Offices are usually open weekdays 8:30 am until 4:30 pm. UI Express Centers and part-time offices have the specific days and hours of service noted with their listing on their page.
VEC staffs at the Local Offices make available job search assistance to individuals and recruiting and referral services to employers.
The three levels of services, available to customers, within the One-Stop Career Center are core, intensive and training.
- Core or self-service job search assistance is offered to all job seekers.
- Intensive or individualized service is offered to job seekers who need additional assistance to obtain employment.
Training is offered to job seekers who are receiving intensive services and need training to reach employment goals.
